Announcing 2012's Cute Kid Contest! - Boise idaho Newborn - Child Photographer

It's already that time of year! Last year Malia was my 1st Annual 2011 Cute Kid Contest Winner and got to be the face of my photography business for the year and won a free photo session with me. She was so beautiful and we had so much fun putting her session together. Malia celebrated my 1st "Business Anniversary" with me and now we are getting ready to celebrate number two! I am so excited to announce that I am now accepting openings for 2012's Cute Kid Contest. The rules are simple so please read before submitting.

WHO CAN ENTER?  Anyone in the Treasure Valley that is able to do a session between March and April and whose child is between the ages one and six.


HOW WILL VOTING WORK? Simple... your friends and family will be invited to start voting on your photo when contest starts. You will be notified via email the date the contest starts and ends. The child with the most votes will become the face of Stefani Marie Photography for 2012 and win a free session with me.


HOW WILL I KNOW IF MY CHILD WON? I will announce the winner after contest is closed and votes are counted. You will then be notified via facebook and or email that your child won and needs to schedule their upcoming free session. Because they will also become a part of my logo you will be required to sign a model release form for the images to be used in upcoming advertisements for 2012.


WHAT WILL THE WINNER RECEIVE? A one hour session with Stefani Marie Photography and an online gallery of the images taken during your session.

First Annual Stylized Christmas Mini Sessions! 4 Spots Available

It has finally arrived! Want to avoid the weather and do an indoor session with your little one in their Christmas best! Then make sure you book your session on December 17th. If you have multiple children please contact me prior to booking at stefanimariephotography@hotmail.com so that way I can make sure more time is allotted for you. I also recommend that these sessions only be for smaller children ages 1 year to 8 years old. I work with each child individually and will try and get one image of all the kids together (if you have more than one) but due to limited time it is not a guarantee that this will happen. Picture will be online within 2 days of session to guarantee enough time to order prints if needed.

At this time I have opened up 4 spots. Because of the cost and investment into this session I will only offer time slots to those who pay their sessions in full and sessions are non-refundable after booking. I have the following times slots available at this time. After booking I will email you the time slots I have available and is a first come first serve basis. Please contact me first if you need a specific time slot prior to booking at (208) 12-1215 to make sure it is still available.

I am open to doing more sessions in the afternoon if these time slots get filled. Because there is only a limited amount of images I will not include the CD but they are available for purchase for an additional $25 per family. Or you can order and download the photos from your online gallery.

Fall Family Special - ONLY 8 SPOTS AVAILABLE

I have had a lot of inquiries about if I was going to do a family fall mini session this year. I thought about it lots and I hate being limited on time with families (especially if small children are present). I feel rushed through mini sessions and because sessions are back to back I can only allot you that time slot you booked and cannot guarantee kids will cooperate during a session.

For me it feels like by the time a child is comfortable in front of the camera it is time to end the session so this works best for me to do a special instead of a mini session for families. I will have four different backdrop settings and will only have two time slots available on those days. Please inquire on location and time if you are interested in booking. These are great for your family Christmas pictures, or even updated photos of the family, the kids, or even a quick engagement session. This also makes great gifts for grandparents for Christmas :)

Also because this has already been substantially discounted I will not accept any other discounts or promotions with this special. Thanks for understanding. I am also planning on doing individual Halloween Costume Mini Sessions so stay tuned for details in October! This will give you plenty of time to get those Halloween costumes planned for the kiddos!

*** CLIENT NEWS AND UPDATES ***

Due to some recent set backs in the last couple of months I will be changing the way I do my sessions. I really enjoy helping out as much as I can whenever families are in need, but photography is also a way that I make a living for my family and pay my bills. I will no longer give any images on a disc or online until a session has been completely paid in full. I typically handle my sessions this way anyways, but I have made exceptions for those who were not able to pay up front. I really love my job and love what I do and I want to continue to help those who are in need but will not release any images without my logo on them until the session has been paid in full. I hope that everyone understands.

On a positive note thank you so much for all my support in my business. It has been such a fun journey this year and have had the opportunity to meet such wonderful families. I look forward to many great years and memories in the future!

So not only is it time to get those family holiday photos in order... now you have to start thinking about Christmas cards, shopping, turkeys, decorating...etc. It can sometimes get overwhelming with all the things you have to prepare for. Many of my clients have requested mini sessions so here they are!

Since this is my first year offering Halloween Mini Sessions I am not sure how many sessions I will get booked. I am going to offer Mini Sessions on October 16th and if I fill up for that day then I will also take evening appointments for October 17th. This will allow me enough time to get your pictures proofed in time for Halloween. Your child will also receive a goodie bag with some candy after pictures are taken! ( A little bribe for their cooperation )

How will the mini session work?

  After booking I will disclose the location (It will be in the Boise Area). It is a session that will last only 10-15 minutes. It is imperative you arrive early and your kids are ready to go (costume, make- up, hair etc). In order for me to offer this great price I will be on very strict time constraints. You will get at least 5 guaranteed proofs and maybe more if child is cooperative. Your child must be in costume since this is a Halloween Session (Bronco Gear qualifies so may be a good time for some last minute Bronco Photos!) Also due to time constraints this is only for one child. You will need to reserve a 2nd spot for your other children and pictures will be taken as individuals. Also to reserve your session for that time I will need to collect payment via pay pal or payment arrangements can be made. Once session is booked and paid it is non-refundable. If you book and cannot make your time we can reschedule. (Thanks for understanding)

At this moment I am offering only the Date of October 16th. If you cannot make that date and would like to still get pictures done of your little one please contact me and we can discuss a price and another alternative.
